<description>Looks like you all have some interesting info on importation of honey. I am not surprised about it though we have heard much of it early on. But not much has been said since. I do wonder about all the low priced honey available in the big box stores. Lately I have seen some honey bears with something like “honey flavored” its main ingredient was HFC and call the store personals attention to it. Came back some days later and the ingredient list had been altered and the honey bear was refilled with honey all be it probably from a local box store. We are still fighting the mites and other bee diseases along with the cold weather in Minnesota. Have met a couple of your beekeeping cohorts over the years, one just west of you in Roswell and the also the party who won the honey prizes at the 2005 Apimondae. Good luck with your beekeeping efforts and educating the public about the importance of honey bees to our food supply via pollination. I spend a lot of time doing that as well. We have a very active group of about 200 beekeepers in the Twin City area called the Minnesota Hobby beekeepers.
